We live in UK - our schools have the Baker days too - except, not content with them having waaaay too many days off, we decided to put our little darling into a private school......oh yeah - we pay for the privalege of him having even more days off than the local kids do! This means that we can only get 1 week off a year as a family (not enough annual leave and we both work) and he has to go into a holiday club most of the summer and come to work with me often! Yep - love our schooling system! Brilliant!
