Won’t be making that recipe anytime soon. You lost me at the hot gymnasium kind of like a recipe loses me when fruit is an ingredient.

I wanted to shoot myself just reading that… What we don’t do for our kids…

That sounds like hell, totally.

And how you got through that without mentioning the copious amounts of flu germs covering every surface (and the carnage of IBS sufferers assaulting the three toilets available, AND no soap or paper towels in the bathrooms), I just don’t know!

LONG LIVE COLDSTONE!

That sounds utterly horrid. I am so very glad they don’t have anything like that here.

“Take a whiff. If it smells like feet, you’re almost there!”

That cracked me up the first time I read this back when you initially posted it. It cracked me up again. Your reruns are like Seinfeld reruns – I’ve seen it before and I still laugh.

Just promise me you don’t dance like Elaine……..

In other news, I’m on the planning committee for my kid’s elementary school Spring Carnival. *Almost* as fun as an ice cream social, except with the added benefit of being held 90% outdoors so there’s the rain factor for extra fun. Woooooooo!

Her school doesn’t do ice cream socials, at least as far as I’ve heard. They *do* have rollerskating parties but that is not a parent-attendance type event. Which is fine by me.

I totally remember this post!! It still makes me laugh out loud! Thank goodness, my kid’s school has yet to have an ice cream social!

I never understood the point of ice cream socials. The ice cream was never good, and it was definitely 100% always halfway melted.
